What’s in a shared PDF
A PDF you share from Lectra keeps everything readable and searchable:- The original PDF’s text stays real text that you can select and copy.
- Typed text boxes are real text too.
- Your handwriting and scanned pages carry an invisible layer of recognized text, so other apps can search them. Words Lectra isn’t confident about are left out of this layer.
- Images you added are included.
Lectra reads your handwriting after a save. If you share right after writing, the newest handwriting may not be searchable in that PDF yet. Your ink always appears on the page.
